2025 Goals: A Look Ahead
There are so many ways that Colter (my almost husband!) inspires me and makes me a better person every single day. He makes up for what I lack and supports every step I make to grow. It’s in the big and little things.
One of the reasons I love him is he is ambitious and follows through on his plans, and just one of the things I’ve learned from him is the importance of setting goals for yourself. He writes down fantasy and reality goals every year and hangs them up to see every day. Most of his have to do with horses and roping, as that is what he is most passionate about. But after seeing his goals hung on the wall next to the bed, I decided we both needed to embrace the concept for 2025 as we start our lives together.
Our first picture of 2025!
On January 1st, we sat down together and talked through what we want for ourselves throughout the year ahead. This has led me to start sharing more, hence the creation of this blog and hopefully the better use of my social media. I write so much about all the amazing people in our industry, but I couldn’t give you just one specific reason why I’ve never opened up about my life. Maybe it is because I am scared of what others will think. Maybe it’s because I feel as though I don’t have enough that is worthy of sharing. Maybe it’s because I was raised to be so humble and to love being behind the scenes. Maybe it’s because I truly enjoy sharing about others so much that I’ve never taken the time to invest in myself.
My hope is not to just promote myself, but that as I grow, you will take bits and pieces of my life as inspiration and maybe relate to some of it in some way or another. I hope to be very genuine, honest and straight-forward sharing my life further. To start, these are my goals for 2025. I’d encourage you to come up with your own.
